In the Middle, Love

In the End, Love,

Wake up!

So here i am again, my fingers wanting to type something. There are these strange days when i feel like blogging but I don't have anything particular in mind.

I was sitting today and wondering as to why I even started blogging and let others read my blogs and my thoughts. I think the idea of blogging or just to pen down the thoughts is probably to document your thoughts (duh!). But why to document thoughts? is it to capture ideas? is it to capture....brilliant ideas that might pay off later? is it to be famous and let people know about you?

I personally think blogging helps in a few more ways than just one. It helps in capturing beautiful thoughts, inculcates hidden talents of writing, builds you intellectually, and lastly brings clarity in the mind and removes clutter.

It is very easy to sway from the real essence of blogging and to really be genuine, knowing that there might be someone else reading this and for the fear of judgement. At the same time, it is equally important to focus on self preservation.

I opened up this blog to pen down my experiences from this world in my own words, and my own terms.

After a point you have to stop thinking about what the world thinks of you, once they see the pictures, read the blog and the experiences. :)

I give my blog the direction I want to give it, probably like how we all want to give direction to our life... that is exactly what I am doing right now. Giving direction to my life. Choosing and picking and making my own rules and formats. Away from what this society demands me to or expects me to.

Make your own path. Your own format. Your own road. Your rules. It is your life.

You get to live your life once at a time. How can you let others rule YOUR life?

Women

Damn the sly women!

What makes women so bitchy?

Territorial instincts in their own planetary ring in their universe, battling and fighting if not for survival but for sub conscious pleasure of putting the other one down, a parasitic feeder on the mind, just cause.

Such women, so far that I have noticed are generally unhappy, and exhibit the same frustrations with everyone, everywhere, every time. Its very simple. They are just unhappy and negative with everything and everyone. They don't like ANYTHING and ANYONE happy. So they exhibit this culture.

Such women, generally get left behind eventually and walk their path alone. Some choose to, some, as a result of how they are.

Its strange actually. The human mind has such potential to do good, to be good.

Depends on who YOU really choose to be.

The Deepest Silence

The silence, of the silence experienced through the dancing of the leaves of the trees, is the deepest ever.

My English Vacation II

SO

in continuation with my previous blog.. i have a billion things to write but i dont know where to begin. I dont know how to collect a month's trip of everything from food to people to clothes to drinks, to the videos to the trees to the children and every second pregnant woman in england.. to the small rabbits hopping about, to the night life...the mad mad mad bank holiday sales.. everything!

see.. i took photos of anything and anything! But my highlight or rather the dominant part of the trip was centralized on nature..and the food.. the culture.. the people.

I will post a few videos here.. some might think of them as boring.. they were just random videos of artistes singing on the streets.. or just the hypnotic dancing of the trees with the English breeze..to some.. it is just the silence of the silence i experienced through nature. See if you like it. :)

At Cambridge. Town Center

At Cambridge again. I was amazed to see the companionship between the two. It stirs the heart!

MORE COMING :)

Goodness Gracious me!!

HAHAHA..hope this didnt happen to peeps in real life!!!

Clouds race across the night sky, showing forth the silver shine of the moon, sparkling on everything it touches.

Listening to the silence.

Blind

Banished. Suffocated. Strangled. Put down. Chained forever.

This world needs to respect the heart of a creative soul.

My English Vacation

So im here in England almost in the 'middle' of my vacations now :((. I have been very quietly observing the culture here as much as i can from my tourist eye. Of course it is different living in another country and observing and living right through it.. er.. still i can humbly make a brief attempt at trying to understand the facade in front of me, since im here.. why not then!

It is a very beauiful country, very beautiful. There is more white-ness to see than i ever saw
(really!? who am i kidding ;) ), lush green pastures, typical english pubs, the fish and chips, riverside picnics, babies everywhere.. i swere every second woman in this country is pregnant right now! I see typical milking cows ( you know with the black and white patterns and the pink nose.. MOO to that!!)

All this along with modern London, with big maddening stores like NEXT, Clairs, John Lewis, Debenhams, BHS etc etc, Starbucks coffee, Costa Coffee.etc etc.. with London Eye and Big Ben looking right at ya!! You cannot escape those. Then my favourite SOUTH BANK. I could spend a whole day there, and another, and another, and another.. and another whole day. A perfect place for people who appreciate music and art. Of all forms. Live human statues, musicians playing on the street, tourists, dancers, concerts.. simply amazing! London by night.. you have got to be CRAZY if you missed that!

People are very polite, soft spoken and helpful. No nonscence, crass behaviour on the streets and DARE you violate a rule.. you are in for a hefty and regrettable hole in your pocket!

I have not heard a single car honking ANYWHERE. Better believe it and you had better have a very rational explanation for honking at someone!!

Every second person owns a convertible or an Audi. People in general are very well dressed.
If ' y'all ' girls here think you know fashion and are well dressed..... you better re-EValuate your self perception. um-hm! (Just like the americans isnt it!! hehe)
Without doing anything the women look fabulously dressed, no extra make-up, just a liner and gloss and thts it!! i dont know how they do it!!

Anyway.. this is just a lil glimpse of what all i saw.. some vacation time still to go.. more blogging later :)

Just another Manic Monday!

NEON

Why Georgia Why

Beautiful Song. JM. THE best!

Whats your lunch??

It is a beautiful morning. The skys are clear and the sun is out. The breeze is very refreshing!
I see the people enjoying the pleasant sun, some sit on the pavement smoking up their traditional bidis, following the religion of mentally stimulating themselves with the addictive waves of tobacco..

Some lying on the grass soaking up all the vitamin D that they can because they know its healing properties and some just by default!

And then I see some random
gentleman releaving himself on a wall which specifically says
" peshab karna mana hai !!"

It comes very naturally for human nature the do the very thing they should not be. Heh heh heh

THEN I see the our friendly neighbourhood NOT spiderman but our stray dogs! All of us are so consumed by our existance that we fail so see the other LIVING, BREATHING creatures that have been co-existing with us outside our oblivious universes.. Infact, they ARE in our universes, we just refuse to acknowlwdge their presence. In a really REALLY strange way I sometimes envy the peace of mind these dogs have, you know when? When I see them just lying around in the sun.. Without a CARE in the world, as if they are dead.. And they do it anywhere..! What free will !

Rich sinful cold coffee with premium swiss chocolate and ice cream blended in a creamy lustful concoction- LADIES and GENTLEMEN I present to you my lunch for today, the SWISS MOCHA FRAPPE!
and a sandwhich of cOSS.

Enjoy yours :)

Elephant

On the joyous occassion of Janamashtmi, the street outside my house is all lit up. Lights everywhere. Orange lights. Yellow lights. White lights. Blue lights, lights and many more lights, not to forget the awesomely loud street lights as well. It is actually very beautiful! The whole street just became alive and vibrant with positive vibes. I was quite satisfied to see the scene outside, I mean I can just step out onto the balcony, with a cup of masala chai sit on the chair and just absorb the visuals. Totally cool! I think im going to do just that once I finish writing this blog.

There is a small temple diagonally on the left side of the house, a hindu school bang opposite my front face, then residences. Amazingly tall eucapyptus trees ALL around the place and opposite, swaying hypnotically from side to side with the wind, leaves creating a beautiful symphony if you can manage to pay attention to it. If you stick your nose to the bark you can actually smell the eucalyptus fragrance from them. Really its true, as stupid as I did look, I tried it at a time! Quite a nice scene from the 3rd floor.

On the back side, is a very nice residential colony, green with trees and kids playing in the evening. On the right side one can see the metro from the balcony of my room. It is quite a sight, watching the metro go past.. silently slithering its way through Delhi in mid air. The sun usually sets very beautifully and I can take a thousand photographs if I manage to come home on time to catch it and have a camera ready. Maybe I will post a pic here of one of the few I took some time back :)

Oh man! Elephants! Tall, and majestic, intimidating..gentle, slow and docile at the same time.. so beautiful! There are two outside my house right now! They are giving joy rides to people and kids. Have you ever noticed an elephant's walk? They walk like a beautiful woman.

I think elephants are the most beautiful creatures God ever created. It is a strange irony, as intimidating they look, they are equally humble and docile. There is a lot to learn from these mysterious creatures, a lot about life, endurance, patience, responsibility, love and humility.

Anyway so this is the scene of this moment right now. These little moments make the bigger ones and have the ability to make any one happy. In this fast pace of life, I wonder how many people today actually have the time and energy to let alone enjoy, NOTICE, such small  moments.

Janamashtmi is round the corner. I wish for everyone to be happy. To live happy. To spread this happiness.

May all auspicious things and events happen to everyone everywhere!!

And now I am going to make killer masala chai and chill out on my balcony.

Jealous?

:)

Techno-cology!

I swere to GOD nothing in this world could be more relaxing than being on the bed with the laptop in your lap, tappin away on the keys, listening to Mr John Mayer with a cup of chai beside you.

So what if its 1 am! So what if I got work tomorrow!

Technology rocks!!

Don't Look Back

To learn from all the past experiences, to absorb and assimilate the best of what you have faced in your worst, and move along. Make a fresh beginning, with your army of your well wishers and people you love. Be brave, and march ahead.

The Sun Rises

Its 2 am in the morning, I have work tomorrow and I am not sleepy.

There is all this talk about the swine flu which has sneakily slithered into the world and made everyone hop, skip and jump. Not cool. There is no trace of the monsoons.

Somehow, I wanted to write. My fingers wanted to tap something on the screen.

I don't know what it is that I really want to write here, I am just going to go with the flow. See what it is that my mind wants to say that my fingers so desperately want to pen down on the screen.

Time heals everything. I dont know whether I should say that time is a friend. We can only try to catch up with time and go with it. One cannot want the sun to rise at 10 am in the morning. It will always rise in its time. We just need to keep trying, keep making the effort.

There is a lot of confusion on efforts vs destiny.

Sometimes, the higher spiritual forces spread out a setting for us. Give us a little push, show us the path, and then it is upto us on how we walk, the pace, and whether we stick to the path not not. There is a reason why we were given the intelligence we have, otherwise we probably would have been leaves. Flowing in the direction of the wind, without any power to decide where the leaves want to go.

Yes, this is it.

The sun rises in its time, gives us light and shows us the path. And then we carry on our daily activities. We walk on the path. Our effort. Our life. Our Decision.

The Sacred Fire

Even if the fire doesn't intend to give light, it always will. That is its true nature. It is always giving.

Symphony

Sometimes, you just need to let the colours of life colour you.

HAHAHAHAHA

They dance on a diler mehdi song must see it!!!!

Global Metal

I found an amazing documentary made on the culture of heavy metal rock lovers all over the world. Come in various parts, will be posting them soon one by one.

Directors Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn set out to discover how the West`s most maligned musical genre - heavy metal - has impacted the world`s cultures beyond Europe and North America. The film follows metal fan and anthropologist Sam Dunn on a whirlwind journey through Asia, South America and the Middle East as he explores the underbelly of the world`s emerging extreme music scenes from Indonesian death metal to Chinese black metal to Iranian thrash metal.

A MUST SEE for all!! Enjoy :))

Them Girls

Man i see these young girls wearing halters and mini skirts and heels prodding along the place... and its not like they are small girls of 4-5 -3 years...man they are between 10-... well 10 yrs onwards.. like they get dressed up trying to be bold adult women...trying to fit in I guess.. or maybe impressing the boys....

When I compare myself to that age.. I WAS SURELY simple if this is the way to judge ...or maybe i was being what I should haVE BEEN at my age.

Am I being conventional here? or "backward" ?... what is up with these young 13 yr YOUNG girls showing off cleavages and their___ i mean really... AM I THE ORTHODOX ONE HERE?

was out with some friends last night for dinner and saw this girl, must be 11.. wearing a very mini mini MINI skirt with a halter neck.. see.. ideally I should not care a rat's ass but.. I imagined my daughter wearing that... I think I would ground her for life if she was my kid!!! See the operative word? K-I-D?

Anyway.. this blog is more like a question than a blog itself.

Feel free to comment. :)

Funny in the Tummies!!

The Terrifying TerroRIST!!

We ALL care the tiny rat's ASS!!

Is our life just about the usual rat race? Is this all we live to do?

How many of us realise that all our microcosmic moments are just whizzing by us and we are in our own oblivion just trying to achieve we ourselves don't know what!

Life is worth more, we have been surrounded by our corporate targets, out gadgets and toys, internet.. More coming on the way which is great, but isn't it actually leading to the death of physical closeness?

Life is so much worth it, so many dreams to fulfill, new experiences to experience, so many new people to meet, places to see, spend small happy moments with family and the people you love. Its only if I realise and acknowledge these smaller moments will I be able to enjoy the bigger moments.

Just a random thought..

Business as Usual

This place looks like some transport terminal. There are gunmen everywhere. Baggage xray machines, metal detectors and scanners and fat slobby half asleep non alert policemen at the enterance. You have to get a pass made outside at the gate. They take a picture of you aswell for identification. The women taking pictures are our typical ones who work at the govt office. Fat punjabi 'genanis'who wear the worst possible prints and combinations of suites, use their saliva EXTENSIVELY for papers and stuff everywhere (ew Ew EWW!!), speak very crudely, wear golden or silver coloured glasses, generally have similar shades of nail enamels which are half chipped telling their story of the non caring attitude of the bearer, extensive henna colour on the hair, purple, magenta or red lipstic glaring at your face leaving you wondering as to why you forgot your sunglasses in the car!

Still, I visit this place almost everyday! ALLLLLmost everyday, this government organisation..targets and sales and stuff... nothing new, Business as Usual.

:)
